Where peach trees overlook

The architectural cases of 'Dream Core' discussed in the December newsletter [Link] featured the fantastic CMF atmosphere, as seen in the Ruby City Art Center in Texas, USA. Prepared for this keyword, we have buildings that align with this theme, possessing a sense of color and warm energy.

China's design company Atelier Xi created a community pavilion in a peach tree field in the Hubei province. Inspired by leaning peach trees, the pavilion's design incorporates peach-colored stained concrete, aiming to inspire local residents and enhance their quality of life with minimal architectural investment.

In 2020, architect David Adjaye used peach-colored concrete for The Webster, a fashion edit shop in Los Angeles. The exterior and interior spaces were adorned with peach tones to complement the existing building's appearance, providing a fresh and warm atmosphere to visitors.

Mexico's architecture design company Práctica Arquitectura built a house on a narrow plot of 5m width and 20m depth in the Monterrey region in 2022. The peach-colored CMF distinguishes and organically connects spaces, showcasing the power of harmony.

A versatile color blending anywhere

The interior of ATOP Beauty Clinic in Seoul, South Korea, expresses the philosophy of a beauty clinic that heals not only appearances but also the mind with peach-colored interiors. Various materials such as metal, glass, leather, and wood harmonize beautifully with peach, presenting a soft and bright energy with a lively presence.

Take note of the peach-colored interior of Koji Saryo, a cafe operated by Uonuma Jozo, a Japanese sake brewery. The cafe's color, materials, and forms draw inspiration from the traditional architecture of snowy northern Uonuma and koji fermentation. The red structure surrounded by a central bench is strategically installed at eye level for a strong contrast effect when viewed from the outside.

Portugal's furniture design brand HOMMÉS Studio introduced its collection and interior ideas aligned with Pantone's color announcement. According to HOMMÉS Studio, the entrance plays a crucial role in all spaces. They suggest that painting walls or using accessories and furniture in peach color will fill the entrance with warm energy. Peach-toned walls, floors, furniture, rugs, cushions, etc., create a cozy and elegant atmosphere, complementing well with other color accessories such as bright white marble, dark wood, and gold metallic accents.

Mobility

Only three cars in the world

In the mobility section of Hida's CMF newsletter, Rolls-Royce is a frequent subject, indicating their constant experimentation with new and challenging CMF. In 2022, Rolls-Royce unveiled the second custom 'Boat Tail' vehicle, one of only three in the world, garnering attention. The Boat Tail series is a handmade coach-built vehicle, showcasing tremendous craftsmanship throughout the entire production process.

The client who commissioned this project works in the pearl industry, and the vehicle is inspired by four pearl shells provided by the client. The luxurious color scheme consists of oyster and soft rose colors, with special textures expressing the unique qualities of pearls using white and copper-toned mother-of-pearl pieces that subtly change in the light.

While you have seen cases similar to Peach Fuzz in various fields, the challenges lie in finding a balance between the image given by the color itself and its harmony with different materials and colors.
